Similar
to an Alsatian white wine, the blend of six different varieties offers floral,
pear and citrus-like aromas, with bright fruit flavors ending in a long,
lingering finish. An excellent choice for poultry and seafood dishes. |

Grapes
were harvested between August 24 and September 29 at an average 22.3° Brix,
fermented in stainless steel tanks and held 9 months in both stainless steel
and German oak ovals before being blended and bottled in August, 2002. |
This is a superlative vintage in the North Coast. A cool (but
not excessively so) growing season was followed by fabulous weather in September
and October, allowing producers to harvest at their leisure. Crop size was
reasonably good . . . All things considered, this is a great vintage for
all varietals . . .
